Homemade Berries Sorbet Recipe

Sometimes eating healthy for some of us is not an easy task for a varieties reasons. One of the main reasons is that some of us lack of creativity when is time to cook a healthy meal. While transitioning to a more healthy lifestyle I discovered that there are tons of fun ways to implement fruits and vegetables to your daily life without feeling that you are eating air (some people literally feel this way when they are eating vegetables).

A couple days a go I did a delicious sorbet mixing a bunch of differents berries. It took about 10 minutes to do and I was so impressed with the result and it was so delicious that I need it to share it with you guys. I have to clarify and say that they are different ways to do a fruit sorbet, so to all the real chefs, out there don't get offended.

So here we go...

  1. Frozen Raspberries, Blueberries, Redcurrants, Blackcurrants, Blackberries ( all organic)
  2. Frozen Natural Yogurt or Soy Yogurt
  3. Honey or Maple Syrup
  4. 2 Mint Leafs

Preparation Ready in 10 minutes

  1. Put the frozen natural yogurt or soy yogurt in a bowl. The yogurt or soy will give to the sorbet more consistency. Add the frozen fruits to the same bowl.
  2.  With a hand blender, mix the fruits and the yogurt or soy together until it creates a consistent frozen cream.
  3.  Add a little bit of honey or maple syrup to ensure more flavor and mix it with the blender again.
  4. You are almost done, serve the desired amount of the sorbet in a glass and add the mint leafs for an extra hint of flavor.

And voilà your sorbet is ready !
I hope you like this super easy recipe, let me know what you think, if you tried it or if you have any other healthy ice creams or sorbet recipes that I should try.
